What We Do
The Boxborough Democratic Town Committee is your local arm of the Democratic Party. Boxborough DTC members share a common vision aligned with the principles of the Democratic Party and work locally to support these principles. Voting membership consists of up to 35 members plus 20-year members. There is no limitation on the number of associate members.
Members must be registered Democrats and residents of Boxborough. The committee is elected by the public every four years in the Democratic Presidential Primary. When vacancies occur, positions may be filled by committee vote. Citizens may also choose to participate as associate members.
Through members’ volunteer efforts, the Boxborough Democratic Town Committee works to support Democratic political candidates at the regional, state, and national levels by engaging in the following activities:
canvassing
visibility (sign-holding “stand outs”)
attending welcoming events and rallies
letter writing
phone calling
campaign literature distribution

participation in local events
sponsoring candidate nights and forums
holding an annual picnic with the Acton Democratic Town Committee
participating in the Middlesex and Worcester Democratic Coalition
sponsoring speakers/presentations
participating organizing/participating in community service events
holding regular meetings, generally every month.
The Boxborough Town Democratic Committee is chartered by the Massachusetts Democratic Party.
